CCTV and access control

Premises security, connected to your wider IT.

CompTech works with trusted specialist partner AD Systems on CCTV and door access control for business premises. We help coordinate the network and IT considerations so the installation fits the systems you already use.

A coordinated project

Specialist delivery, with clear IT responsibilities.

AD Systems is local to CompTech in Blackpool and also operates nationally. We work with AD Systems for specialist CCTV and access-control installation and delivery. CompTech’s role is to coordinate the agreed technical work with your wider IT environment.

The proposal should identify who supplies, installs and supports each element. Coverage, site attendance and ongoing arrangements are confirmed for your project rather than assumed from the location alone.

Start with the premises

Tell us whether you are planning a new system, replacing existing equipment or changing how people enter the building. Bring details of the network, internet connection, doors and existing systems so the right people can assess the requirement.

System design and specialist installation requirements are reviewed with AD Systems before delivery is agreed.

What the project can cover.

Scope the physical system and its connections together, with responsibilities recorded from the start.

CCTV systems

Discuss camera coverage, recording needs, authorised viewing and existing equipment. IP or network-connected CCTV also needs suitable connectivity, capacity and controlled access.

Door access and entry control

Review who needs entry, which doors are involved and how access is issued or removed. AD Systems assesses the specialist system and installation requirements for the premises.

Networking and secure connectivity

Plan network connections, power dependencies and any remote access with the wider IT environment. Agree secure administration and avoid exposing equipment directly to the internet without a reviewed design.

From the first discussion to a supported handover.

A working installation needs a clear plan for access, changes and support after the project.

  1. Agree the requirement

Describe the premises, areas of concern, existing equipment and who needs access. Agree the intended use, project scope and responsibilities before choosing a solution.

  2. Coordinate the delivery

AD Systems plans specialist installation and delivery. CompTech coordinates agreed networking and IT dependencies, with site access, timing and disruption considered together.

  3. Plan the handover

Confirm administrator ownership, documentation and the route for faults or changes. Record which provider supports each part of the system and any ongoing work included in the agreement.

Ongoing technical considerations

Agree responsibility for updates, account permissions, connectivity faults and replacement equipment. Recording capacity and settings should match the agreed purpose. Any maintenance or support arrangement needs a defined scope.

Keep business systems in view

Changes to a firewall, internet service or network can affect connected security equipment. Record those dependencies so IT and installation providers can coordinate changes.
