Business IT Support

IT support that keeps your business moving.

CompTech supports businesses across Blackpool, Fylde, Preston and wider Lancashire with day-to-day IT, Microsoft 365, cyber security and practical planning, all from one local team that’s easy to reach.

Business support model

One team looking after the day-to-day and the bigger picture.

Good IT support shouldn't stop when the ticket is closed. We look after the everyday problems while keeping Microsoft 365, devices, security and future improvements connected.

We can act as your main IT team or work alongside an existing IT person or internal team where you need additional capacity, Microsoft 365, security or specialist support.

Technology kept in good shape

Updates, endpoint protection, monitoring and the everyday management that helps prevent small issues becoming bigger ones.

Accounts, Microsoft 365 and data protected

MFA, permissions, email security, Microsoft 365 backup and practical controls around how people access business systems.

Problems turned into improvements

We look beyond individual tickets to recurring problems, ageing technology, supplier issues and emerging risks, then help you decide what should happen next.

One team, clear responsibility

What good support should feel like

People should feel listened to, leaders should understand the priorities, and everyone should know what happens next. These are the everyday signs of a support relationship that works.

  • A clear route to a real person

Your staff know how to ask for help and what information to share. They receive plain-English updates, understand the next step and know who is handling the issue, without having to chase several suppliers.

  • Clear ownership of Microsoft 365

You know who looks after accounts, permissions and everyday changes. New starters, leavers and access requests follow an agreed process, with responsibilities made clear between CompTech, your internal team and any other providers.

  • Security that fits everyday work

Cyber security is part of the support conversation, from device updates to safer sign-ins. Your team understands why controls matter, how to report something suspicious and where further action or an agreed service is needed.

  • A practical plan for recovery

You understand what is backed up, who checks it and how recovery would work. Discussions cover important systems, recovery priorities and testing, so decisions reflect the disruption your business could face if data or services became unavailable.

  • Confidence using AI and Copilot

Your staff have clear guidance on approved tools, sensitive information and checking AI-generated work. Permissions, licensing and business needs are considered together, helping you explore useful applications while keeping people responsible for the decisions they make.

  • Onsite help with a clear purpose

Remote support handles issues where it is practical, with onsite work planned when hands-on help is needed. Visits have an agreed purpose, take account of your working day and leave you clear on what was done and what follows.

Explore managed IT support

What should improve when your IT is properly managed?

Fewer interruptions

People can get help quickly and recurring problems aren't simply left to happen again.

Day-to-day support is backed by updates, monitoring and investigation of recurring issues, so the focus stays on keeping people working.

Fewer unknowns

You have a clearer view of devices, Microsoft 365, security, backup and the areas that need attention.

Accounts, permissions, devices and protection are considered together, making gaps and responsibilities easier to understand.

Better planning

Technology decisions become planned improvements instead of rushed purchases when something fails.

Ageing equipment, supplier issues and emerging risks help shape practical priorities, so you can decide what needs attention next.

Managed support

Endpoints usually include supported desktops, laptops and other agreed managed devices.

User protection and Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 licence prices shown are based on a 12-month licence commitment. This is separate from the term of your CompTech managed-service agreement.

Required Identity Protection: £10.00 per licensed user per month + VAT, added automatically based on your licensed-user quantity.

Microsoft 365 backup: £3.74 per user/month ex VAT, added automatically for every user. Microsoft operates the platform; your organisation remains responsible for protecting its data. Independent backup supports recovery beyond the platform's built-in retention and recovery features.

Defender for Office 365 Plan 1: £1.85 per user/month ex VAT where not already included, providing Safe Links and Safe Attachments protection. No additional charge applies to Business Premium or Microsoft 365 E3.

For existing licences, leave this unticked if unsure. We will confirm coverage before quoting.
