Here are a few questions that we're frequently asked about our managed IT services.

That depends on how many users, computers, and servers you have on your premises.After getting to know your business, we can discuss you having a free 30 day trial. CompTech IT Solutions will put together a bespoke package that will provide all of the services needed to keep your equipment and systems running smoothly. After the free trial, our prices start from £19.99 per month, per computer. Take a look at our plans page to see which of our plans you’d like a free trial of.

There isn’t one, it’s completely free, no contract to sign, no money to pay, just evaluate the service and support you receive. If you’re happy (which you will be) then just let us know what you want us to manage and we can just sort out an invoice every month.

We will monitor and maintain your server equipment and workstations 24 hours a day, seven days a week as part of our managed IT services plan. Our IT Support plans can give your business all of the following:

  • Guaranteed response time of 60 minutes or less within office hours.
  • All on-site visits scheduled as a priority.
  • Maintenance of all IT systems.
  • Business class anti-virus and anti-spyware software.
  • Proactive monitoring of servers and workstations.
  • Microsoft system updates and security patches.
  • Unlimited telephone support.
  • Unlimited remote support.
  • Monthly reports on systems and assets.
  • Discounted on-site service rate.

Yes we do. If you’re within a 15 mile radius of Blackpool, we will get to you within the hour in an emergency. CompTech IT Solutions will never charge extra for this service, as we don’t agree that your problem being urgent is an excuse to charge you more money.

Nope. We aim to only provide support to customers who are within our catchment area, so you get better service at a lower cost. We don’t charge for fuel, or the time it takes us to travel to you.

Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm. However, we understand that sometimes you may need help outside of these hours and we’ll be more than happy to help you at evenings or weekends as long as reasonable notice is given.

We are happy to accommodate any business, and schools form a large portion of our client base. We don’t tie you into lengthy contracts like many other companies do, it’s just a simple 30 day rolling contract.

We know that schools especially like the assurance of having the same named technician on every visit. We therefore offer annual service level agreements, which state that you can have the same named allocated technician in school on a day that is mutually convenient.
