Charity and Non-Profit IT Support
CompTech helps charities and non-profits make better use of Microsoft 365, protect sensitive data, support staff, trustees and volunteers, and plan technology around real budgets and day-to-day needs.
Charity and non-profit IT
Charities and non-profits often have to balance limited budgets with the same security, data protection and continuity pressures as much larger organisations.
Staff, trustees and volunteers may work from different locations, use a mix of devices and rely heavily on Microsoft 365 to keep services running.
Our job is to make that easier to manage, helping you get more from the technology you already have while making sure accounts, data and everyday support aren’t left exposed.
Give staff, trustees and volunteers a clear place to get help, whether they’re working from an office, at home or out in the community.
Use eligible non-profit licensing properly, review permissions and collaboration, and avoid paying for services you don’t need.
Put sensible controls around donor, beneficiary, finance and safeguarding data without making technology difficult to use.
Prioritise technology spending around risk, service delivery and the improvements that will make the biggest difference.
Discounted charity route
Eligible organisations receive a 20% discount from our standard managed support price, with Microsoft non-profit licensing and agreed onsite arrangements considered separately.
We’ll show you what’s included, what’s optional and where any project or third-party costs sit before service starts.
Charity pricing calculator
Adjust endpoints, users and Microsoft 365 options. Figures are monthly and ex VAT; final scope, eligibility, licensing and project costs are confirmed separately.
Microsoft 365 licensing
Eligible charities can access valuable Microsoft 365 grants and discounts, but licensing alone doesn’t make the platform secure or easy to manage.
We help you choose the right plans, tidy permissions, strengthen accounts, plan independent backup for Microsoft 365 data and make sure staff, trustees and volunteers have access to what they actually need.

Trustee confidence
Trustees don’t need to understand every technical detail, but they should be able to see where responsibility sits, what information is being protected and how the organisation would recover if something went wrong.
Who can access your systems, and who removes access when someone leaves? Check staff and volunteer accounts, multi-factor authentication (MFA), shared accounts and administrator ownership.
At your next review: Ask for a current access list and a named person responsible for reviewing it.
Where is donor, beneficiary, finance and safeguarding information held? Check who can view it, how it is shared and whether personal devices or accounts create gaps.
At your next review: Ask for a clear record of sensitive information, its owners and the priority actions to protect it.
Could essential services continue if an account was compromised or files became unavailable? Review backups, recovery testing and who coordinates an incident.
At your next review: Ask when recovery was last tested, what was restored and which services would be brought back first.

Cyber Essentials gives charities and non-profits a recognised baseline for protecting devices, accounts and data.
We’ll help you understand the scope, fix practical gaps, gather the right evidence and prepare properly for assessment.
Explore Cyber Essentials supportA recognised baseline helps trustees turn device, account and data protection into clear evidence and actions.
Some grant conditions, public-sector contracts and procurement frameworks may specify Cyber Essentials or Cyber Essentials Plus. Check the particular funder or buyer’s requirements early, including the level, scope and deadline. Certification is not a universal condition of charity funding.
Cyber Essentials Plus adds independent technical testing. We can help you understand the preparation needed for the level requested.
We’ll help you identify risks, unnecessary spend and practical improvements that fit your budget and priorities.
