Agree the start
We agree when CompTech becomes the route for new support requests. The free support month begins on that day, rather than after the handover is complete.

Let’s get you to the right place.

For new business and non-profit managed-support customers, CompTech waives its support charge for the first month. That month starts on day one of your agreed support transition, so your team can direct new support requests to us while we work through the handover.
How it works
Changing provider can mean an overlap with your current support agreement. We waive CompTech's first managed-support charge to make that period easier to manage. The agreed transition start, support scope and any other charges will be set out before service begins.
We agree when CompTech becomes the route for new support requests. The free support month begins on that day, rather than after the handover is complete.
We review the available systems, tools, access and permissions. With your authorisation, we can liaise with the outgoing provider and other suppliers about missing information or dependencies.
Our four-week transition approach gives the work a structure, but access, supplier responses and inherited issues can affect timing. The offer does not depend on every item being resolved in four weeks.
We can receive new support requests from the agreed start. The work we can carry out depends on the agreed scope, the access available and any supplier dependencies. We will explain those limits as the handover progresses.
What the offer covers
We will separate the managed-support charge from the other items in your proposal so you can see exactly what the offer changes.
For a new eligible managed-support arrangement, we waive CompTech's managed-support charge for its first month, starting on day one of the agreed transition.
Licences, backups, required protection services and separately scoped or billed work remain chargeable. Your existing provider's notice period and invoices are governed by your agreement with them; CompTech cannot waive those charges.
This offer is for new business and non-profit managed-support customers. Schools and trusts have separate education support agreements and are not included. Final eligibility, support scope and billing will be confirmed in your proposal.
After the first month, the managed-support charges in your agreed proposal apply. We will confirm those ongoing charges and the agreement terms before you start.
Plan your move
Tell us when your current arrangement may end, what support you need from day one and which systems or suppliers could affect the handover. We will explain the support scope, the first-month waiver and any separate charges before you decide.
